» Cottage_Garden - baking soda as fungicide for roses

I knew I had seen recipes for controlling fungal infections on roses. Here is one.

Baking Soda Spray:

1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 gallon unchlorinated water
1 tsp Listerine mouthwash
1 tbsp liquid soap
1 ½ tbsp baking soda

Put the above in a large pump sprayer and then add

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Shake well.

Test spray on just a couple of leaves and wait a few days to see what happens before applying to your entire plant. Do this to make sure your plant is not going to have an adverse reaction to the spray.

I'll keep looking, this seems different from what I remember.
