» Barbara Nicholson Bell - Animals Eating Bulbs
In response to Animals Eating Bulbs posted by Cottage_Garden:
In addition to placing chicken wire over my bulbs, I was advised by the nursery to plant a few Allium among the spring bulbs. Since these are in the Onion family, supposedly they aren't attractive to critters and repel them. I don't know which of the two methods worked, but all my bulbs remained intact for many years.
