Yah drought is bad news. The plants will still be stressed from it next year, too, as a carryover. Let's see, there's an article I wrote on Red White and Blue Flowers ... and a series on White Flowers or Moon Gardens.

I once did a perennial planting in color bands and it is very hard to do well, takes some experimenting if you want good combinations all season long. Meaning for foliage and form as well as flowers. And which colors to put in what sequence. I decided I personally prefer a less rigid formula for color mixing -- too disciplined for me, the ultimate impulse shopper. LOL

So where's my updated kitty picture??? happy
