Thank you so very much for getting back to me. Yes I did use this stuff called "GardenTech Sevin Ready to Spray Bug killer" last week. It said it was good for Vegetables, Fruits, Ornamentals, and Lawns so I just assumed it was good for the Ivy. I used it all over my flowers as well as the Ivy. So I am thinking that must have been it. Do you think I killed it? Is there anyway I can tell? Per your directions I will topdress with compost and keep the soil moist. Is there anything else you can suggest.

Thanks again for being so helpful!!
