In response to If you want to know more about microclimates... posted by Cercis:I think beginning gardeners especially do not realize the importance of microclimate. Sometimes it can be a make or break factor. But it's so localized to each property that it is a little hard to talk about in specifics. There is just no substitute for getting outside and walking and observing your plants. After a while you will get to know your topography -- and your microclimates.
What's really funny is we both used photos of snowdrops this week!
