» Gay_Klok - Dying dried hydrangea flowers

In response to Dying dried hydrangea flowers posted by Cottage_Garden:

Barbara, I have not tried artificial dye. I have so many heads and they take quite a long time to prune, I just dry the most vivid coloured heads and kill two birds at the same time. {What an awful saying!}. Personally, I like the vivid blue and also the sea green colours to use in vases. I do have a find that it does not keep its natural colour for more than a few weeks and then starts going a brownish shade
