I just set up a quick and easy poll or survey to ask why gardeners garden -- what are the reasons you garden, what are the benefits of gardening, what makes you do it? (A short survey, one question!) Of course, not every gardener is a happy gardener, but many of us are quite content to be in the garden and derive a variety of benefits from gardening. So: Why do you do it?
To get to the "Why Do You Garden?" poll, go to the Flower Gardens homepage and scroll down to the bottom left. You can only answer once, then click through to see the results so far. Very cool.
In setting up the survey questions, I tried to cover all the options. But, since I am limited to the number of answers the poll format will accept, I had to condense. There are probably as many answers to "Why I Garden" as there are gardeners. But just for fun, humor me and give it a shot. The overall results may surprise you.
Poll results are totally anonymous and you may only vote once. Make sure to click the final button so your answer is tabulated -- make your vote count!! It's just for fun and isn't really all that scientific.... and yet the results are pretty interesting already.
If you don't see a good answer for why you garden, would you like to tell me more? Is there something I left out entirely? Or do you have more than one reason for gardening? If so, please let me know! I've started a discussion about the poll called Gardening Survey Results.
Once again, to get to the "Why Do You Garden?" poll, go to the Flower Gardens homepage and scroll down to the bottom left. You can only answer once, then click through to see the results so far. Thanks for participating!
