Asters are popular fall blooming flowers that grow well in many regions of the country. This new report will help you select the best asters for your garden design.

There are many different asters and a well planted flower garden should use lots of asters. They are useful for their daisy-like fall blooms as well as for their unusual colors including blue flowers, purple flowers, red violet flowers, and white flowers. They also come in different sizes from knee high to shoulder height so there is bound to be the perfect aster for your garden somewhere among them. The Mt. Cuba Center in Delaware focuses its research on underused or difficult to propagate native plants , and this year's research subject is asters. The illustrated report offers a very detailed look at many different asters; it also details some of the recent botanical name changes in the world of asters. You can access the entire report in pdf format here. Enjoy!
