America In Bloom Deadline Soon

America in Bloom registration deadline is looming -- February 28th. If you and your home town have been thinking about participating, you really need to hurry before it's too late. There are all kinds of benefits to a town that participates in America in Bloom ranging from making your town a better place to live, work, play and visit, to increased civic pride to increased property values, so it might be worth the effort. You can learn all about America in Bloom, how they help you organize your town's participation efforts, and also check out the registration process on their web site. (You can also look at the list of towns or cities that have already signed up!) If you decide it's a little too much to tackle America in Bloom by the end of this month, it's not too early to start planning to participate next year. Don't you want to be able to say your hometown is recognized as an America In Bloom award winning place to live? Sounds wonderful, doesn't it. So what are you waiting for? You've got two weeks to get it done! Good luck to all participants and volunteers! Happy Gardening!
